Brain-Computer Interface
These are the amazing individuals leading the clinical trial that I am currently enrolled in. I am incredibly fortunate to have such an exceptional group of team members supporting me, consisting of two distinct teams. Some of these individuals are personally known to me, while there are others who work diligently behind the scenes whom I have yet to meet.
Dr. Edward Chang, the leader of the speech Decoding team. David, Jessie, and Sean were the first ones from the very beginning of the BRAVO study, as they called it, in 2019, that I know in person. We had a couple more people, but they left for new endeavors already. Max and Margarita, whose real name is Margaret, and Kaylo, joined the team later on, Ran, and Alex joined after them.
Dr. Karunesh Ganguly, the leader of the Robotics team, robot arm. Nikhilesh and Sarah are the only two people from the beginning of the study, three others left for different roads. Jasmine and Hongyi, joined the team later on.
Dr. Adelyn Tu-Chan is, an AMAZING person! She ensures that the clinical trial runs smoothly in all ways. She checks on me, regularly, to make sure I’m doing good. Furthermore, she also helps with Dr. Karunesh’s team.
And finally, Dr. Gary Abrams, a neurologist physician from UCSF, went to see him in 2016. He was the one who introduced me to the clinical trial. He talked to the doctors in charge of the study, about me. When the study was on the go, I reached out to Dr. Adelyn Tu-Chan, and she kindly replied to me. So, I’m here!
